My name is Robyn Mollinga and I am a first-year law student at Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. I am very excited start my legal journey with Daniel & Partners LLP this summer!
I was born and raised in British Columbia, but moved to Burlington, Ontario 15 years ago. I graduated from Brock University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science with a Minor in Labour Studies. During my time so far at Lincoln Alexander, I have volunteered through Pro Bono Students Canada with a clinic in Toronto. In this role, I was able to advocate on behalf of low-income residents who were facing eviction, maintenance issues, and other housing-related issues. In addition, I served as the 1L representative for the Pro Bono Students Canada Lincoln Alexander Chapter where I was actively involved in promoting access to justice and clinic programs to my first-year colleagues.
My family and I love to spend time outdoors camping, kayaking, and attending local rodeos. We are also avid Hamilton Tiger-Cats fans and new season ticket holders, so we will be spending more time at the football field this summer. My kids play a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, swimming, and dance, so I spend a lot of time watching them play during evenings and weekends.
