Sarah J. Draper and her family are proud supporters of the Niagara Regional Science and Engineering Fair. The NRSEF is dedicated to the encouragement of science and engineering students from Grades 5 through 12 within the Niagara Region.
Since 2007, the Draper Family has presented a special award, the James Draper Memorial Award, to students who “demonstrate the most ingenious use of available materials while conducting scientific research experiments, or in the creation of an innovative project.
The award is in memory of Sarah’s father Jim, who won the NRSEF and the Canadian-Wide Science Fair in the Grade 7/8 category in 1973.
This year’s winners of the James Draper Memorial Award are Randall Marsh and Quinn Rungi-Ruston of École élémentaire catholique Saint-Joseph for their project “La Filtration”.
Congratulations Randall and Quinn!
A beautiful tribute Joseph! Gino would be honoured for his well deserved remembrance.
