May 14, 2025

On September 23, 2017, our Associate, Seerat Pershad, a Captain in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve, received a Commanding Officer’s Commendation for Excellence along with the Command Team Coin from Lieutenant Colonel Sandi Banerjee, CD, the outgoing Commanding Officer of the Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada (QOR of C) and Chief Warrant Officer Donovan O’Hallaran, CD, the Regimental Sergeant Major, at the Regiment’s Change of Command Parade in Toronto, Ontario.

Seerat has been serving in the Canadian Armed Forces for over 14 years, and from September 2015 to September 2017, Seerat was appointed Commanding Officer of the 2881 Queen’s Own Rifles Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps, which is affiliated with the Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada. During the event, Seerat was recognized for:

“His devotion to duty and to the welfare of the Cadets and Staff of 2881 ‘Scarborough Rifles’ RCAC Corps. Capt Pershads’ efforts to grow the Corps while fostering the Rifles spirit led to the success of the first Regimentally sponsored, Joint-Force Cadet exercise; aiding retention and rewarding Cadets with new training and leadership opportunities. The Corps excellent showing in the field with the Battalion and on Parade at Ridgeway speak to his success as a Leader and his tour as Commanding Officer.”

Daniel & Partners congratulates Captain Seerat Pershad for this accomplishment and will continue to support his efforts within the Canadian Cadet Movement and the Canadian Armed Forces, as he been recently appointed Commanding Officer of 62 Royal Hamilton Light Infantry RC(Army)CC in Hamilton.
