Hi everyone! My name is Maggie Jessop and I’m very excited to join the Daniel and Partners LLP team this summer.
I am currently a first-year law student at Swansea University’s Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law. I am also two years into the process of obtaining a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Political Studies at Trent University. Through this dual degree program, studying in the UK has given me the opportunity to pursue my passion of a future career in law, while also allowing me to travel and experience new cultures around the world. Being involved in Swansea’s Law, Barrister and Canadian Law societies have shown me the importance of building a strong community in your chosen field. This past year has solidified that I have chosen the most fulfilling path for myself, which I hope will one day assist me in having an impact on the lives of others.
Outside of my education I have always had a passion for the arts, theatre and music. However, spending time with my family, in any setting, is my favourite past time (especially my dog and cat). This is why I am so happy to be at my home in the Niagara Region this summer.
I could not be more grateful for Daniel and Partners LLP for allowing me the opportunity to work in my home community, while also growing my knowledge and experience of the law!
