8th Annual LCLA Mentoring Dinner

September 10, 2025

As the Social Representative on the Lincoln County Law Association Board of Directors, Sarah J. Draper had the opportunity to organize the 8th Annual Mentoring Dinner at Coppola’s Ristorante & Banquet Facility in St. Catharines on October 22, 2016 with Stephanie Anello, Lauren Angle, Kelly Elliot and Derek Drake.  This year’s topic was “Ethical Issues in Social Media”, and the program was accredited for four professionalism hours by the Law Society of Upper Canada for its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirement.

The annual event is a great opportunity for young lawyers to gain valuable tips and advice from more experienced lawyers and members of the judiciary.  This year was unique, as the young lawyers were able to educate the more experienced lawyers about the use of social media.  If you would like to get involved in planning next year’s event, or if you would like more information about attending in 2017, please contact the LCLA.
