On April 17th and 19th, the Lincoln County Law Association held its 3rd Law Day Food Drive, to benefit Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold.
‘Law Day’ is a national event which celebrates the anniversary of the signing of Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Law Day aims to educate and inform the public about the role and importance of both the law and the justice system.
The 2018 Law Day Food Drive brought in 230 pounds of food and cash donations of $673.26!
Daniel & Partners LLP won the Law Firm Food Drive Challenge, and the winner in the individual category was Rachel Goerz of Herman’s Building Supplies.
Thank you to everyone who supported the Food Drive through your donations, and a special thank you to Kelly Elliott and Derek Drake of the Lincoln County Law Association.
Community Care accepts donations year round. For more information visit their website.
