Hi! My name is Josh Gillesby, and I am excited to be joining Daniel & Partners LLP as a Summer Law Student for 2026.
I recently finished my first year at the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law. During this time, I volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada, where I collaborated with 99.1 CJAM Radio to create, edit, and publish an episode on the landlord, tenant relationship. I was also able to participate in Windsor Law’s inaugural Model United Nations event and represent the Windsor Law Hockey Team as well.
Prior to law school, I completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts & Science degree from McMaster University, where I graduated with Distinction, a minor in history, and Dean’s Honour List in fourth year. I was also fortunate to complete a research semester abroad at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom.
In my spare time, I enjoy staying active, playing/watching sports, reading, and travelling.
I look forward to developing my skills in the legal profession and learning from the impressive group of lawyers, clerks, and support staff at Daniel & Partners LLP.
