Gillian Belford obtained an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree with first-class standing from Brock University in 2021. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario in 2024.

While at Western Law, Gillian volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, focusing on employment law. She joined Daniel & Partners LLP as a summer student in May 2023. After completing her articles with the firm, she was called to the Bar by the Law Society of Ontario in June 2025.

Gillian returned to Daniel & Partners LLP as an associate lawyer in 2025.

When she’s not practicing law, Gillian enjoys spending time in the kitchen perfecting her sourdough bread and trying out new recipes. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and staying active outdoors. Gillian especially enjoys spending time with her dog, Boris Goodman. Boris and Gillian love exploring all of the beautiful hiking spots in Niagara.
